How schön began
Born out of an obsession with texture and colour, schön is the latest venture of renowned fashion designer Traudl Troska. After selling the fashion label she had made into a huge success during her years at the helm, she is now turning her talents and passion to designing her new jewellery label schön.

The idea for schön developed over Traudl’s extensive years of travel, where she began collecting a treasure trove of rare and antique stones and materials from all corners of the globe.

Hand-crafted with love
In a world where so many things are mass-produced, schön is about getting back to the art of hand-crafting. From the explorative hand-cut and hammered sterling silver shapes, to the blend of unusual stones, each piece in the schön collection is designed and made by Traudl in her small Sydney workshop.

Her inspiration comes from the materials she works with - mixing the precious and the non-precious. And no two pieces are exactly alike. So everyone who wears the schön range will feel the story behind each piece.
